Jim Lowey CFCC Executive Chef
Dallas Johnson C.P.G.A. Associate Professional
Mike Verhagen C.P.G.A. Associate Professional
Mike is thrilled to return to the Carstairs Golf Club for his 8th year here. Mike began his career at the CGC in 2002 as an Apprentice, became an Assistant in 2004 and passed his Class A exam in 2007 to become an Associate Professional. After 7 years at Carstairs, Mike played on the Desert Series of the Gateway Tour in the Spring of 2009 and upon returning to Alberta worked at the Olds Golf Club for the remainder of the season. The past year has brought many new insights for him in the way the game is taught and played at a high level, as well as how different golf clubs operate. He has recently completed the Titleist Performance Institute Level 1 Golf Fitness Instructor course and can now screen golfers for physical limitations and show the player how their golf swing may be affected, so feel free to ask him any questions you may have. Mike is looking forward to having a great 2010 season at the Carstairs Golf Club!

Randy Hunter C.P.G.A. Assistant Professional
Randy is coming into his 2nd year here at the Carstairs Golf Club and is very excited to be a part of the team once again after first entering the business in 2009. After successfully completing his Playability Test in the fall of 2009 Randy steps into the roll of an Assistant Professional, running the Junior program, playing with the Membership and trying to compete in as many tournaments as possible are just a few things Randy looks forward to being involved in this year. Randy plans to attend Lethbridge College in the fall of 2010 to start his education in Professional Golf Management and Business Administration. Striving to better his golf game and getting to know more and more people every season and eventually become an Executive Golf Professional is what Randy looks forward to in years to come.
